— Systems for your Business Success —

Our time is at a premium. How can we streamline our WordPress business to free up hours and increase productivity?
Whether you are a solopreneur, or managing a team, there are ways to systematise and organise how you work to cut down on stress, release time for the big projects and have a personal life too!

— About Alison —

A former charity and government press officer, Alison decided to take her offline marketing skills online and launched two web retail businesses. Once she got them to the top of the search engines she was hooked on WordPress!
Alison then created a website management company, WP Fiddly Bits, to work with small businesses to keep their websites safely up and running, fix those niggly issues that occur and enable them to keep their sites and their online marketing up to date.
WP Fiddly Bits has grown to a team of six based in the UK, the Philippines and India with clients worldwide. They work with businesses ranging from blast cleaners to soap actors. Alison also contributes to the WordPress marketing team.
When not buying domain names online ‘just in case’, Alison can be found walking her border terrier on the Lancastrian moors.

πŸ€” How do roundtables work?

The room is divided into different tables or groups, each with a different topic. While the topics will be decided on the night, in the past we’ve discussed:
– Security
– Performance
– General questions/site issues
– Development and code
– Design

Pick a table and get involved with the discussion. Move tables, meet people; it’s a great time for finding answers and networking. There is something for everyone, be it your first time using WordPress to a seasoned developer.

If you have a specific site problem you would like help with, don’t forget to bring your laptop!

πŸ“£ Why not speak at a future event?

We are always looking for people to come and speak at our events. So if you have an idea for a talk, a discussion or just want to show folks what you have been working on, please get in touch. You don’t need to be a professional speaker or even to have spoken in a group before.

❓Request a talk

If you don’t want to do a talk, but are interested in hearing about a specific subject, or have an idea/problem, please get in touch and we will try and find someone who can help.
