Our speakers
Rhys Wynne – An introduction to the new WordPress editor
So you’ve been around the WordPress space and heard the phrase “Gutenberg”, but what does it actually do? And why will it change how you work with WordPress? In this talk, Rhys will give an overview of Gutenberg, it’s new features, how you can run it today (and whether you should), as well as share useful resources on how you can be prepared for Gutenberg when it finally drops.
Rhys Wynne is a WordPress Plugin developer, author and speaker. In 2013 he penned bbPress Complete (ISBN-13: 978-1782167242) and has written plugins that have been downloaded over 100,000 times. He can be found on twitter @rhyswynne and you can find his plugins at https://www.winwar.co.uk/
Matt Haines-Young – Working with the new WordPress editor
Matt is going to show some examples of things you can do with Gutenberg, and take a look at some of the tools he and others have been working on to make working with Gutenberg a bit easier.
Matt is a senior WordPress developer at Human Made. He’s passionate about building better publishing tools and using WordPress to enable authors to write great content.
